Contract | Days | Onsite — Shifts vary based on need (0800–1630, 0830–1700, or 1000–1830); scheduling is discussed with the individual in advance to provide consistency and predictability
Key Responsibilities
- Administer infusion therapies, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, in a hospital-based outpatient infusion room setting
- Monitor patients throughout infusion treatments and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — must be active
- Active ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course completion (ONS provider card required)
- Experience in infusion nursing or a related clinical specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient infusion or oncology setting
- Familiarity with a variety of infusion therapies beyond chemotherapy, such as biologics or IV antibiotics
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
