We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-week contract in New Haven, CT. This position is specifically for winter coverage, with local radius restrictions waived for this assignment. The ideal candidate will have cardiac experience and be ready to start by November 13, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required.
- Cardiac experience is mandatory.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Must be willing to float as needed.
- Pending licenses are accepted.
- Guaranteed hours are provided.
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval; no holiday RTO is allowed.
- Weekend shifts required: every other weekend.
