🏥 RN – Interventional Radiology (IR) | Travel Contract
📍 Des Moines, IA
📅 13-Week Contract
⏰ Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Position Highlights
- 36 hours/week guaranteed.
- 48 hours/week available upon request, subject to facility approval (not guaranteed).
- Weekend call required (7:30 AM start).
- On-call rotation required.
- Holiday call coverage required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
- Prepare patients and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications and treatments.
- Assess patients for complications and respond to emergencies.
- Provide post-procedure monitoring and documentation.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Iowa or compact).
- BLS and PALS required.
- Previous Interventional Radiology or related procedural nursing experience.
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills.
