RN Labor & Delivery – Travel Contract
📍 Location: Nampa, ID

⏰ Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM OR 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
🕐 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
➕ 48 Hours: Available subject to approval
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Nampa, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have strong L&D experience, including OR circulator experience, and be comfortable caring for patients throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Requirements
- Active Idaho RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- STABLE
- Labor & Delivery experience required
- OR circulator experience required
- EOW flexibility required
- Holiday rotation required
- Christmas Eve and Christmas coverage needed
- Thanksgiving and NYE off
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and recognize changes requiring intervention
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Function as an OR circulator during C-sections and other obstetric procedures
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
- Assist physicians and surgical teams during deliveries and procedures
- Provide immediate newborn care and support following delivery
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
- Respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies
- Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, nursery/NICU, and other healthcare team members
Schedule & Hours
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours/week guaranteed
- 48 hours/week available subject to approval
- Every other weekend (EOW) flexibility required
- Holiday rotation: Christmas Eve and Christmas coverage needed
- Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve off
