**Join Our Team as a Travel RN at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital!** **Job Description:** - Passionate about rehab nursing? We have an incredible opportunity for you! - Enjoy working in a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility located on the east side of Madison, Wisconsin. - Focus on patient care for those recovering from: - Stroke - Brain and spinal-cord injuries - Amputations - Complex orthopedic injuries - Our goal: Help patients achieve their highest level of recovery and promote their return home. **Unit Overview:** - **Department:** Rehab - **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Specialty:** Inpatient Rehabilitation - **Shifts:** 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM - **Weekend Requirements:** Every other weekend and holiday rotations - **Call Requirements:** Yes - **Required Certifications:** BLS - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year in nursing, preferably in skilled nursing or a 24/7 skilled care environment; Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience is a plus. - **Float Requirements:** Currently, no floating is required, but may need to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 minutes in the future. - **Expectations:** - High acuity care resembling a medical-surgical unit. - Teamwork is key; jump in to assist C.N.As and respond to call lights for patient safety. - Attendance policy adherence is crucial. - Mandatory 30-minute breaks; staff must clock out, with two paid 15-minute breaks during a 12-hour shift. **Unit Details:** - **Number of Beds:** 49 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:7 - **Equipment:** - Mobility equipment (ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, and Sara Plus) - Slide boards - Vital machines, EKG machine, BGM - Computers for charting - **EHR System:** EPIC - **Nurse Manager:** Liz Buroker - **Patient Population:** Adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation with high acuity needs. --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
