We are seeking a skilled Operating Room (OR) RN - Scrub/Circulator to join our team in Calais, ME. This contract position offers the opportunity to deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period. The ideal candidate will be able to scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as needed, while effectively communicating with other members of the perioperative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective patient care during the perioperative period.
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
- Assist in the recovery room as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maine.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) required for all full-time/part-time employees (may obtain within 6 months of hire).
- At least 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- CNOR preferred.
