Join a leading acute-care hospital in Tampa, FL, as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR). We are seeking skilled RNs with a strong background in surgical nursing to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment. This is a contract position with a focus on evening shifts.
As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for scrub and circulate duties. We will accept applications for those who only circulate as well. A minimum of 5+ years of experience is preferred, as you will be required to float throughout the hospital. Candidates with Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience are strongly encouraged to apply, while surgery center experience will not count toward the required years of experience.
Applicants for day shifts should be well-rounded and prepared to assist with a variety of surgical specialties, including:
- Orthopedic (joint and trauma)
- Neurosurgery (crani and spine)
- Plastics/Burn
- General/Trauma
- Colorectal
- Surgical Oncology
- Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
- Urology
- Robotics
- Cardiovascular
- Thoracic
- Vascular
- Transplant
For off shifts (evenings, nights, weekends), applicants should have experience across all service lines, including pediatrics and eyes. The evening shift hours are from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
