Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday | Shift runs 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (arrive 6:45 a.m. for huddle) | Rotating weeknight and weekend call required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care as an active member of the surgical team
- Participate in rotating weeknight and weekend call as scheduled
- Support a broad range of surgical services including general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, C-sections, ophthalmology, vascular, dental, and ENT procedures
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
- Attend daily morning huddle and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused OR environment
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license or valid compact RN license
- Minimum 5 years of Operating Room experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required – must be in hand at time of submission
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel nursing experience
- PALS certification
- CNOR certification
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, and GYN/OB services
