We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room (OR) in Tampa, FL. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. As a Registered Nurse in the OR, you will be responsible for both scrubbing and circulating, with a preference for candidates who have 5+ years of experience. Applicants should be ready to float throughout the hospital and must possess experience in a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center. Please note that surgery center experience will not be considered towards the required years of experience.
Day shift applicants should be well-rounded and prepared to assist with a variety of surgical specialties, including:
- Orthopedic (joint and trauma)
- Neurosurgery (crani and spine)
- Plastics/Burn
- General/Trauma
- Colorectal
- Surgical Oncology
- Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
- Urology
- Robotics
- Cardiovascular
- Thoracic
- Vascular
- Transplant
Applicants for off shifts (evenings, nights, weekends) should have experience across all service lines, including pediatrics and ophthalmology. The day shift operates from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 10-hour work schedule.
