Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality care for patients requiring close monitoring and intervention.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of any changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and plan patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with policies and procedures.
Schedule
This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including:
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
- 3 x 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) certification.
- Previous experience in a telemetry unit is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and effectively manage multiple tasks.
