Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Overview
The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing specialized care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. This role may require floating to various units, including but not limited to J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, ensuring consistent care for the same patient population.
Shift Details
- Rotating shifts available: 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm
- Shifts may vary based on operational needs, although efforts will be made to accommodate preferred schedules.
- Travelers are required to work at least every other holiday.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty being applied for.
- Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required at the time of application.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA or American Red Cross are required.
Orientation and Assessment
During the orientation period, travelers will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment. A passing score on both assessments is mandatory for continued employment in this role.
