Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in both adult and pediatric behavioral health, although candidates with expertise solely in adult care will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patients’ response to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license.
- Experience in behavioral health nursing.
- Avade and/or CCM Training is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a 3x12-hour shift schedule.
Shift Information
This position involves working the night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Flexibility and reliability are essential.
