Shift Details
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours guaranteed per week. Every other weekend required.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health provides direct care to patients struggling with mental health conditions. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, administering medications, and delivering therapeutic communication and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient well-being and provide support throughout recovery.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment and resources.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Adult Behavioral Health.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Handle with Care Certification preferred.
- DHS fingerprinting required prior to employment.
- No previous disciplinary actions on record.
Certification Requirements
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
State License Requirements
- Active Oklahoma state license required at the time of submission.
