Registered Nurse (RN) - Postpartum
Unit Description
Join a dynamic team in the Postpartum unit where compassion and expertise come together to provide exceptional care to new mothers and their infants. This role requires a commitment to high standards of nursing practice in a supportive environment.
Schedule
- 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation
- Every other weekend required
- Start date options: November 2 or November 16 (November 2 preferred)
Qualifications
- Current RN license and certification in the state of practice
- Previous experience in postpartum nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Role Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor the health and wellbeing of postpartum patients
- Provide education and support to new mothers regarding infant care and breastfeeding
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
