Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a temporary assignment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to diverse patient populations.
Schedule
- Night Shift: 18:30 - 07:00
- Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend rotation required
- Every other holiday on rotation
- Option for 4x12 shifts and up to 26-week assignments available for interested travelers
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs based on acuity and clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations effectively.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years.
- Current Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license is required.
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA) are required.
- Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the assignment.
