Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Emergency Department settings. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience providing care to both adult and pediatric populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
Schedule
The position includes night shifts, specifically 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. The role involves a weekend rotation and participation in holiday coverage every other year.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience within the last three years.
- Experience with adult and pediatric populations is required.
- Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license is required.
- Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) are mandatory.
- Candidates will need to pass a Telemetry test prior to beginning the role.
Assignment Details
Traveling nurses will be considered for both 4x12 schedules and assignments lasting up to 26 weeks if interested.
