Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
This nursing position is part of a critical care float pool and involves working in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health through the delivery of professional nursing care tailored to patients' ages and medical conditions. The role aligns with evidence-based nursing practices and hospital regulations.
Shift Information
- Available shifts: Days (7am - 7:30pm) and Nights (7pm - 7:30am)
- Shifts to be decided during the interview process
Assignment Details
- This position may float between various critical care units including CVICU, NICU, and PICU.
- Assignments will take place at multiple locations within the region.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in pediatric critical care.
- Preferred experience in a Level III or IV NICU environment.
- Experience in a children's healthcare setting is preferred.
Education Requirements
- Two-year Degree in Nursing (ADN), Four-year Degree in Nursing (BSN), or Diploma in Nursing.
Certification Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona or compact state license with multistate privileges.
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced NRP certification.
Vaccination Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required.
- Flu vaccination is required from October through April, with exemption applications needing prior approval.
- Those not vaccinated for COVID-19 or the Flu must sign agreements and wear masks during the respiratory virus season.
Additional Information
- Holiday coverage may be required.
