Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS Certification, ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Education: Valid nursing license with required certifications; 0 years minimum experience in bedside clinical practice.
- Location: Pittsburgh, PA
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active nursing license; BLS Certification; ACLS Certification; minimum two years bedside clinical experience; ICU experience.
- Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, initiating discharge planning from the day of admission, providing patient education, maintaining accurate documentation, supervising ancillary nursing personnel, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Additional Information: The RN will participate in team-building activities, contribute to a positive work environment, and pursue ongoing professional development.
