Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience
- Orthopedic experience
- Oncology experience
- Level I Trauma experience
- Large hospital experience
- At least 1 completed travel assignment
- Active state RN license or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines
- No first-time travelers accepted
Unit & Patient Care Details
- Medical-Surgical / Orthopedic unit
- Team nursing model
- Staffing team includes 2 RNs, 2 LPNs, a medication nurse, and a charge nurse
- Patient ratio: 1:12 team nursing
- Short-term acute care facility
- Level I Trauma Center
Schedule & Requirements
- On-call as needed
- Weekend rotation as needed
- Block scheduling not available; weekend block may be considered
- No local candidates within 100 miles of the facility
- No pending licenses accepted
- Travel experience required
Submission Requirements
- Include all requested time off (RTO) at submission; RTO submitted after an offer will not be approved
- Driver's license copy required with submission
- Submit to only one job and one facility; duplicate submissions will be rejected
- Include vaccination status
- Clearly list the candidate's best contact time on the profile
- Include a documented renewal plan for any certifications expiring during the assignment

Compliance & Additional Information

- Education: ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
- Floating: May float between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius
- Holiday Requirements: If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must work 2 of the 3 holidays. If only 2 fall during the assignment, must work at least 1.
- Rehire Eligibility: Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year. Former travelers who completed a full-year assignment must be away for 1 full year. Confirm eligibility with the account manager before submission if previously employed by the facility.
