Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Facility Type/Setting: Hospital – Operating Room
Shift & Schedule: 3×12-Hour Night Shifts | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 Guaranteed Hours
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Call Requirements: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of Level I Trauma experience
- Active New Jersey RN license
- Scrub and circulating experience
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- BSN preferred
- Strong attention to detail, patient safety, and quality monitoring
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate care across the OR
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, direct, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
- Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient assessments.
- Function in scrub and circulating roles as required.
