Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Assignment Details
- Location: Sitka, AK
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Call Requirement: Shared on-call rotation (approximately 1 in 3)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
- Care for patients undergoing a variety of elective and emergency surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, vascular, ENT, urology, OB/GYN, thoracic, and plastic surgery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to established patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN license is required at the time of submission.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
