Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Follow hospital policies and patient safety protocols.
- Float between assigned units based on facility requirements.
- Provide holiday coverage as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Previous adult Medical-Surgical experience.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Ability and willingness to work in a Float Pool environment.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
