About the Position
A virtual interview is required for all candidates, and candidates will be contacted within 24–48 hours to schedule this interview.
Shift Details
- Available shifts: 3x12 or 4x12 hours, Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Patient Ratios: 1:6 to 1:7
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience required; must have previous travel nursing experience.
- Licensure: South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
- Special Requirements: Experience in telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias preferred.
- Completion of all assigned modules prior to the start date is mandatory. Access to these modules will be provided by the Wednesday before the start date.
- Attendance at staff meetings is required.
Miscellaneous Information
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November.
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are welcome to apply and will be considered at a reduced rate.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be indicated at the time of submission; approval will depend on facility needs.
- Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- After 2 call outs (without documented medical reason), a contract may be subject to cancellation.
