Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a MedSurg setting, specializing in Ortho, Neuro, and Pediatrics. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for nurses passionate about providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the MedSurg unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and care planning.
Shift Details
This position is for night shifts, working four 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Scheduling includes weekends, with a commitment to minimal or no requests for time off during the assignment.
Requirements
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Minimum of one year of recent MedSurg nursing experience.
- Experience in Ortho, Neuro, or Pediatric care preferred.
- Proficient in intermediate skills, including IV starts.
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7.
- Previous travel nursing experience is advantageous.
Uniform
Royal Blue scrubs are required for this position and will not be provided.
