Travel LDRP Registered Nurse (RN) – Salida, CO
Location: Salida, Colorado
Facility: Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse to join its Family Birthing Center. Enjoy the opportunity to work in the beautiful Colorado Rockies while providing compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and Level I Nursery.
- Assess maternal and newborn patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor labor progression and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Assist with deliveries, newborn care, breastfeeding support, and patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Accurately document patient care using the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
- Active Colorado RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent LDRP experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- PALS preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
