What You’ll Do
- Assess, plan, and deliver safe, evidence-based care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal heart tracings and triage obstetric patients
- Recognize rapid changes in patient status and activate emergency protocols
- Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, and the nursing team
- Educate and support patients and families throughout their stay
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted California RN license
- 3+ years of RN experience
- Cerner EMR experience
- AHA BLS and ACLS
- NRP (Advanced)
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring
- AWHONN Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI)
