Job Description – Labor & Delivery RN / Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM)
Department: Labor & Delivery
Shift: 12-hour nights
RN Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
ANM Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Overtime: Billable after 48 hours worked in a week
Interview Process: Clinical interview followed by final manager interview
Labor & Delivery RN Requirements
- Experience: 2 years required, with previous travel experience; 5+ years preferred
- 1-year candidates are not accepted
- First-time travelers: considered upon review
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)
- EPIC experience required
Required Clinical Skills
- High-acuity labor management and delivery of high-risk OB patients
- OB triage
- OR circulation
- Cervical checks
- Reading and interpreting fetal monitoring strips
- Receiving and recovering normal newborns as needed
