Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Job Summary (List Format):
- Provides routine and complex nursing care independently in a perinatal setting, practicing with awareness of all relevant clinical aspects.
- Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) to care for assigned patients.
- Manages both routine and complex patient needs, including psychological, emotional, cultural, and social aspects.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effectiveness and side-effects.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and all care provided.
- Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Delegates tasks appropriately to other care providers and assists in managing clinical situations.
- Maintains required certifications (AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC C-EFM, STABLE, NRP, BLS, ACLS).
- Holds a current RN license in NM or compact state.
- Completes annual and organizational competency verifications and participates in required orientation/training programs.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 1 year of related specialty experience, Perinatal RN Residency or recent perinatal experience.
- Full-time night shift position (7PM - 7AM).
