Job Summary (List Format):
- Provide patient and family-centered care tailored to individual, holistic goals.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to ensure safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care.
- Promote high-quality outcomes and act as a patient/family advocate.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and seek resources for complex or high-risk clinical situations.
- Assess patient and family needs, document findings, and prioritize care plans accordingly.
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized care plans in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Evaluate progress towards goals; participate in patient care conferences and modify plans as needed.
- Identify, assess, and address patient/family educational needs using adult-learning theory; document education provided.
- Recognize and address barriers to communication, considering socio-cultural differences to tailor interventions.
- Delegate or assign appropriate tasks to other healthcare team members within their scope of practice.
- Coordinate and communicate with the healthcare team and ancillary staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation per departmental and organizational guidelines.
- Meet all licensure and certification requirements (CA RN license, CPR, NRP, AWHONN EFM Advanced/Intermediate, NURCREEFM preferred).
- Possess at least three years of recent RN experience, with at least two years in a specialty area.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
Med Ninjas Job ID #20824. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
