Job Summary:
Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: New York (Locals within 75 miles preferred)
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Block scheduling not guaranteed)
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
Travel RN experience required
4-5 years ICU experience preferred
Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
Heart experience highly preferred (priority for manager)
EPIC EMR experience required
Certifications Required:
Active NY RN license (and all active RN licenses)
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Unit Details:
42-bed ICU (Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14)
Floating required to all units except Behavioral Health and ER (unless holding)
Patient Population:
Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
CTICU: Cardiac/vascular surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA
Surg/Trauma: Trauma, major post-op surgical patients
Equipment Used:
IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
Scrub Color: Navy
Key Points:
ICU travel RN role, nights, with floating and high-acuity patient care
Strong cardiac and CRRT/Prismaflex experience prioritized
EPIC EMR, certifications, and travel experience required
Med Ninjas Job ID #18832. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
