ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Embark on an exciting adventure in beautiful Vermont! We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional patient care in a critical care setting. Experience all that the Northeast Kingdom has to offer while delivering quality nursing services to patients in need.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care for patients in a critical care environment.
- Coordinate patient care reflecting the AACN Standards, adapting to the needs of various patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry reading.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus in critical care required.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS/BCLS.
- Ability to adapt care based on individual patient needs and conditions.
Work Schedule
The role requires 3 shifts per week, with each shift comprising 12 hours. Night shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM. Holiday coverage will be necessary.
Housing and Transportation Requirements
This position is located in a rural area, approximately two hours from the nearest major airport. A reliable personal vehicle is essential for transportation, as public transport and local taxi services are unavailable. Housing is not provided, but local resources can be shared to assist in finding suitable accommodations.
