Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Skills required:
RN: Critical care gtts experience – insulin, vasopressors, sedation, management of invasive lines (ART/CVP), Cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, ventilator management, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Can see any diagnosis except Cardiac Surgical - Sepsis, ARDS, GI Bleeds, DKA, Cardiac Arrest, Withdrawal, Renal Failure, etc.
Patient Ratios:
RN: 1:1-2 (Day & Night)

EMR: EPIC
IV Pump: Alaris
Med dispensing: Omnicell
Monitors: Phillips
Rover Communication
Hoyer lift; Gait Belts; Activity closet for confused patients
Floating:
Within region and scope of practice
