Weekend Rotation: EOW
Holiday Requirements: 75% of holidays required
Floating Requirements: Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children's Hospital)
- Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Unit Information:
- Beds: 30
- Average Census: 26
Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years of ICU exp
Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- Can see any diagnosis except Cardiac Surgical - Sepsis, ARDS, GI Bleeds, DKA, Cardiac Arrest, Withdrawal, Renal Failure, etc.
Patient Ratios:
- RN: 1:1-2 (Day & Night)
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
- RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Skills required:
- RN: Critical care gtts experience – insulin, vasopressors, sedation, management of invasive lines (ART/CVP), Cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, ventilator management, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.
