Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a passionate individual with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current New York State nursing license.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Excellent communication skills and strong ability to prioritize tasks.
Work Schedule
This position involves 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) with a commitment of 36 hours per week over an 8-week period.
