Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. Bring your advanced surgical circulating expertise to a busy cardiovascular and thoracic surgical environment while earning competitive weekly compensation.
ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS
Gross Weekly Pay: $3,168
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Schedule: Days | 40 Hours/Week
Shift Pattern: To be confirmed
Unit: 8 Cardiovascular OR Suites
Average Volume: Approximately 10 cases daily
RN Role: Circulating only
Weekend Call: One 24-hour weekend call assignment per month
Weekday Call: End-of-shift call up to once per week
Call Response: 30 minutes
Holiday Coverage: On-call as needed
Floating: None
Charting: Epic
Scrubs: Provided
Parking: Free
WEEKLY COMPENSATION
Gross Weekly Pay: $3,168
Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,600
Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,568
Taxable Hourly Rate: $40.00/hour
Overtime: After 40 hours per week
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
Strong CVOR circulating skills with the ability to work independently
BLS certification
Epic charting experience
Experience with complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
Availability for weekday, weekend, and holiday call
Required Surgical Experience:
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Valve replacements
Robotic thoracic procedures
Generator exchanges and lead extractions
Heart transplants
Femoral-popliteal bypass procedures
Clinical Environment:
8 cardiovascular operating rooms
Approximately 10 procedures daily
Two RNs assigned per surgical case
Dedicated circulating responsibilities for travelers
Da Vinci XI robotic surgical technology
Two weeks of department orientation
Additional Information:
Previous CVOR travel experience strongly recommended; first-time travelers are discouraged.
Up to 7 days of requested time off may be considered.
Staff may not work more than 60 hours per week under the facility's fatigue policy.
