Summary
Join an acute-care hospital in Visalia, CA as a CCU/ICU RN supporting Rapid Response/Critical Care coverage. This night-shift contract is ideal for experienced critical care nurses who thrive in high-acuity, fast-response environments.
Requirements (Must Have)
- Active CA RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS (American Stroke Association)
- Crisis intervention training at facility
- CCRN (AACN)
- 5 years RN Critical Care experience
Preferred
- TNCC
- PALS
- BSN/MSN (or currently enrolled in an RN-BSN program)
What You’ll Do (Highlights)
- Respond to Code Blue, RRT, Sepsis, Trauma, and Stroke Alerts
- Provide advanced critical care assessment and stabilization support
- Communicate with providers using SBAR
- Support transports and handoffs; assist with ICU/CVICU/ED/ICCU surge needs
- Participate in quality improvement and debriefs as applicable
