Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Laboratory setting for adult and geriatric populations. This role involves addressing the psychosocial and physical aspects of care in the surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, continuously monitoring the condition of patients in the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions and needs.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and inventory for the Cardiovascular Laboratory.
- Ensure the procedure room and equipment are functioning and ready for use.
- Obtain and manage supplies for individual cases to meet the needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team.
- Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon start.
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting is required.
- Must be available to participate in on-call rotations, approximately 8-10 call shifts per month.
