Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location: Greensburg, PA 15601
Start Date: 11/23/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Schedule: 4 shifts per week, every other weekend
Patient Ratio: 1:7
Charting System: Cerner
Float Required: Yes, within the hospital and sister facilities within a 10-mile radius, based on facility needs
Note: Non-monitored Medical-Surgical unit with 34 beds. Must be willing to work every other holiday.
Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The RN will care for medical and post-surgical patients, including orthopedic, bariatric, and general surgery cases, while managing a variety of acute medical conditions.
Requirements:
License: Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN License required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience. Travel experience not required.
Certifications: AHA BLS required and must be current at submission.
Other requirement: Must be willing to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius. Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).
Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
Patient Diagnoses: Medical non-monitored conditions, post-operative joint replacement, bariatric surgery, general surgery, gastrointestinal conditions, renal failure, respiratory conditions, neurological conditions, and wound care.
