Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg and Telemetry Registered Nurse in Bristol, TN. We are seeking dedicated RNs for a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing exceptional patient care.
As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced setting. Your expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation and your ability to float to other units when needed will be essential in this role. We welcome first-time travelers and encourage those with previous charge experience to apply.
Requirements:
- 2 years of nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- All travelers must live 100 miles from the facility
General orientation will begin on Sundays, with online CBLs. We can start travelers any Sunday, provided compliance documents are completed by the deadline. Please note that there will be 16 hours of non-billable orientation. The hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if there is a decrease in census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment will be flexed as needed for hospital census fluctuations.
Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. This responsibility is in addition to the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty.
