Assignment Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Medical Surgical units in Rockford, IL. Ideal candidates will be skilled in providing comprehensive patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Assignment Details
- Work Modality: On-site
- Shift Details: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2601 (negotiable)
- Position Urgency: Quick Start
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act
- Document according to standards of care
- Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
- Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and escalate appropriately to the chain of command
Qualifications
Required:
- Current IL License
- CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification is required
PEL/VIP Job ID #66046300. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
