Job Opportunity – Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Ohio
Start Date: November 13, 2026
Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Highlights:
- 13-18 week contract options available with potential for extension up to 18 months
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a well-established healthcare facility
- Night shift schedule provides work-life balance with consistent shifts
- Orientation and competency assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety
- Pre-start modules required (average 6-15 hours) with up to 4 hours billable time
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of application (no pending licenses accepted)
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be active at submission)
- NIHSS certification required
- Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from an assignment within the past 12 months (coworker references not accepted)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- Negative drug screen required; nicotine testing exempted for nursing professionals
- BCI/FBI background check clearance (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
