Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, including support for ED boarders awaiting inpatient placement across the system
• Perform pre-cardiac catheterization care and manage patients with ports
• Float as needed between campuses and to Observation, Medical-Surgical, and MS Telemetry units
• Adhere to all facility dress code, compliance, and documentation standards
• Maintain accurate and timely charting using Epic
• Provide holiday coverage as expected; only one holiday RTO request permitted per assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1.5 years of Telemetry or relevant RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath care and port management required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS – must be submitted or obtained prior to start
• Epic charting experience required
• COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); Flu vaccination required
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Observation or Medical-Surgical Telemetry settings
• Familiarity with ED boarder care and cross-campus float responsibilities
• Ability to adapt to block scheduling when operationally available
