Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Ohio
Start Date: November 20, 2026
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts may vary based on operational needs. Float potential to comparable units caring for the same patient population. Must work at least every other holiday.
Highlights:
- Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in a major metropolitan hospital system
- Rotating 12-hour shift schedule with potential to float to similar acuity units
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation
- Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
- Pre-start modules required (approximately 6-15 hours, with 4 hours billable)
- Comprehensive orientation with hands-on competency assessments
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
- All certifications must be active at time of submission - pending certifications not accepted
- Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from the past 12 months required
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Negative drug screen required; BCI/FBI background check must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- No open legal cases or license hits accepted
