Assignment Overview
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a MedSurg/Tele assignment in a teaching hospital setting in Concord, NC. Ideal candidates will have experience handling a variety of surgical and trauma cases, and be comfortable working in a dynamic, supportive, and resource-rich environment.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Teaching Hospital
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Shift Details: 3x12-hour shifts, Nights
- Assignment Length: Not specified
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2448 (negotiable)
- Local Candidate Policy: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
- Charting System: EPIC
- Floating: Required to float to various nursing units across region as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with orthopedic, spine, trauma, vascular surgery, and medical overflow diagnoses
- Deliver general post-surgical care, including incision care, wound vacs, and trach care
- Engage as part of the recertification process for the Advanced Certification for Spine Surgery
Qualifications
Required:
- 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- General post-surgical skill set including NG tube insertion and wound care
