Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg RN in Los Alamos, NM. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care. As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for caring for surgical patients and may occasionally assist in other units.
Position Information:
- Facility Department/Cost Center: MED/SURG TELE 605
- Role: RN
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Years of Experience: Minimum of two years
- Patient Ratios: 5:1
- Equipment: GE
- EHR: Medhost
- Supervisor: Michelle Ortiz, RN Director of Inpatient Services
- Type of Patients on Unit: Mostly geriatric patients
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Must be able to care for surgical patients
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience in Stepdown Unit and ability to read/interpret telemetry strips
- Personality Fit: Great attitude and ability to work in a team environment with limited resources
- Required Education: Nursing license
