Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and possess the necessary skills to manage Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments.
- Float between Med Surg and Tele departments as needed.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner charting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Schedule
This position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend and holidays. Schedule may vary based on unit needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Recent experience with Cerner charting is mandatory.
- Two or more completed travel assignments are required.
