Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical care at a leading acute-care hospital in Flowood, MS. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated nursing professionals seeking a contract position with a focus on quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Mississippi.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
- Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Ability to work a 6:1 patient ratio.
This position requires night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with alternating weekends. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on 11/16/2026. Submissions without the required qualifications will be rejected. Auto-offer contingent upon start date and scheduling requests.
