Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
- Manage antepartum patients, including those with preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, and gestational diabetes.
- Care for patients at 23+ weeks of pregnancy.
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions during labor and delivery.
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate patterns.
- Administer and titrate Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and occasional insulin drips.
- Administer medications such as Procardia, Labetalol, TXA, Methergine, Hemabate, Cytotec, and Cervidil.
- Assist with vaginal and C-section deliveries.
- Care for postpartum patients and those recovering from surgical procedures.
- Assist with hemorrhage management and other obstetric emergencies.
- Provide care for patients undergoing hysterectomy, bladder repair, and mastectomy procedures.
- Support C-section recovery and monitor patients during Phase 1 recovery.
Requirements - Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP experience. - Active RN license required at submission. - BLS required. - NRP required. - AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required (Advanced preferred). - STABLE certification required. - Experience managing Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Triage, and Postpartum patients. - Must have experience titrating drips, including Pitocin and Magnesium. - Ability to manage high-risk obstetric patients. - First-time travelers accepted. - Must be comfortable jumping into the unit with minimal orientation. - Candidates must be willing to scrub for procedures (preferred). - Profile review and manager interview required.
