Join a leading acute-care hospital in Ottumwa, IA, as a Rehabilitation RN in our Acute Care unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population primarily consisting of adults, providing high-quality care and support in a collaborative environment.
Our facility is committed to excellence, with a highly trained medical staff that has been serving the community for over 125 years. We offer a full range of services, including emergency medicine, critical care, and specialized rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adults in an acute rehabilitation setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care plans.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Iowa nursing license.
- 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
- Mandatory certifications: BLS, Mandatory Reporter Certification (Child and Adult).
- Background checks must be fully cleared prior to start; no instant or statewide searches accepted.
- Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates.
- Titers must be within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
We can accommodate a 36 or 48-hour guarantee, so please indicate your preference upon submission. Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rates.
