Job description
Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Clarion, Pennsylvania.
Job Description & Requirements

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience Required: 1 year of ICU experience
Charting System: MEDITECH
Required Certifications:
- Active RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- PALS
Unit Details & Responsibilities:
- 8-bed ICU with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3
- Care for cardiac and neurological patients
- Manage and titrate IV drips
- Interpret cardiac rhythms using Nihon Kohden monitors
- Respiratory therapy manages ventilator care
- Charge nurses also take patient assignments
Scheduling Requirements:
- Rotating day/night shifts or straight nights, based on department needs
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Straight-night nurses may be asked to support other shifts based on staffing needs
- Shift preferences, block scheduling, and time-off requests may be accommodated but are not guaranteed
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
